I am Charles Conlan.  I am a video game designer currently studying at Champlain College.

I have had the opportunity to work on game design at all stages of development, especially level design.

 

I have experience with game engines such as the  Unreal Engine 5, Unity, Gamemaker Studio 2, Inky, Twine, and Ren'py.

Double Down

Double Down is a roguelike FPS for high-octane high rollers. Smash robots and spin slots to win powerful upgrades, and make your way through growing waves of enemies to face The House and take back the casino.

Break In

Break In is a stealth and exploration game.
With an emphasis on puzzle solving. There are two powers the player will get to use the snatcher and the invisibility powers that the player should use. I was in charge of Level design, art and programming of this game.

Bay of Piracy

Bay of Piracy is a level for the Lyra Starter game.The game is about seizing as many control points as possible. My role for this project was the level design.

Magic Tower

Magic Tower is a Fantasy RPG with an emphasis on narrative. The player can pick many choices that change the was the story progresses. These choices will have different benefits and consequences for choosing them. I was responsible for the narrative, decisions and level design of this project.
