Bay of Piracy

A level of the game "Lyra" designed to encourage movement between distinct destinations.

Bay of Piracy is a 3D map in the game Lyra. This level helped expand my knowledge of level design in video games. 

​

The goal of the level was to encourage players to go to various locations for different reasons. 

​I also wanted players to move across the level in order to access important areas such as control points.

 

​

​

 

I original only has one weapon pick up per team. But I changed that  to have two per team as well as two found on the island to allow more players to get access to new weapons throughout the level as some of them may have been taken by other players.

​

​

 

I made some docks that would be used from a defense position they originally blocked the player much more than they do now. The wall of the behind the player was removed from allowing the opponent to strike back.
